Anthony Joshua has a partnership with DAZN group as the future bouts of the two-time heavyweight champion are broadcast on the sports entertainment platform.
Leave his deal with Sky SportsJoshua has now strengthened his partnership with DAZN by becoming a shareholder, special advisor and brand ambassador for the company.
“I’m entering a new phase in my career with a new training environment, new coaches and now a new broadcaster,” Joshua said. “Negotiations at this level take time so I’m glad it’s all wrapped up and now I can fully focus on giving the fans and DAZN what they want, knockouts in the glamor section.
“I’ve been working with DAZN for a long time and follow its development. We have had a really successful partnership in the US for many years and I know the team and understand the passion and drive behind the business.”
As a special advisor, Joshua will join DAZN’s Strategic Advisory Board as the company evolves its global boxing offering as it seeks to offer its customers a “more complete and immersive experience.”
The boxer continued: “DAZN’s vision and passion for innovation drew me to the partnership. They are at the forefront of the digital landscape in esports and the future of sports broadcasting. I am very much looking forward to a long and successful partnership.”
DAZN also offers access to elite fighters such as Canelo Alvarez, Ryan Garcia, and Gennadiy “GGG” Golovkin and Kate Taylor.
