CONCORD, NC – Expanding into an epic four-day championship finals from November 2-5, the World of Outlaws World Finals at The Dirt Track in Charlotte will bring drivers and fans more action on and off the track.
Parades, parties, autograph sessions and more will take place during the week between races for the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series, World of Outlaws CASE Construction Equipment Late Model Series and Super DIRTcar Series – with a total purse of more than $600,000.
The event kicks off Tuesday, November 2nd with the Hauler Load-In Parade and PRN Kick-off Party featuring driver interviews, race cars and live music. Wednesday, November 3rd then marks the first day of on-track action for the World of Outlaws Sprint Cars and World of Outlaws Late Models.
And while the Super DIRTcar series may not have any on-track action, its drivers will line the front track for a two-hour fan fest before the racing action, allowing fans to get up close and personal with their favorite drivers and cars.
World of Outlaws fans will have the same opportunity over the next two days with a fan fest for the Sprint Car drivers on Thursday and one for the Late Model drivers on Friday.
Thursday, November 3rd will feature action for the World of Outlaws Late Models and Super DIRTcar Series, while Friday, November 5th will feature features for the World of Outlaws Sprint Cars and Super DIRTcar Series.
Then on Saturday, November 5th, three champions will be crowned in a massive night of action. The points accumulated in the previous nights determine the line-up of the heat races for each series.
After battling for $15,000-to-win races during weekday races, both World of Outlaws series will be battling for $25,000-to-win on Saturday. The Super DIRTcar series will compete for $10,000 in paydays during the week and $15,000 in the finals.
Ahead of the features, the famous 4X3 Wide Salute, which simultaneously brings fields to the track for both the World of Outlaws and the Super DIRTcar Series, will grace the Speedway for motorsport’s most iconic photo opportunity.
The storylines leading up to the event also add excitement throughout the week. Three-time and reigning Word of Outlaws Sprint Car Series Champion Brad Sweet is on track to claim his fourth straight title, but drivers like David Gravel and Carson Macedo are still close behind, looking for their first championship .
In the Late Model Series, veteran driver Dennis Erb Jr. has a strong championship lead en route to his first title, but the two rookie contenders behind him, Tanner English and Max Blair, are dueling for the Rookie of the Year title .
Eight-time and reigning Super DIRTcar Series Champion Matt Sheppard is looking to defend his title from last year and secure a historic title in the ninth series.
