BEMIDJI — There was a hustle and bustle at the Sanford Center on Friday afternoon as Bemidji Jaycees’ 43rd Home, Sport and Travel Show began for the first time since 2019.
The event runs until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday and 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Sanford Center. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children between the ages of 6 and 17. Children under the age of 5 have free entry.

“Everyone knows that after the Home, Sport and Travel Show, spring is just around the corner and it’s just a great opportunity to showcase our local businesses around town,” said Jaycee member Eva Fisher during set-up Thursday.

The Jaycees hope people will be ready to get back out there and celebrate their Rite of Spring event.
“As more and more events take place, we expect a lot of people from the community to come by and make those relationships and connections with the businesses here,” Fisher said.
