Australia’s biggest seller of US pickup trucks has added another Ram 1500 variant to its range to bridge the gap between the cheapest and most expensive models.
As Ram Trucks Australia prepares to phase out the sub-$100,000 edition that has accounted for most of the sales growth in Australia over the past eight years – the ‘DS Series’ Ram 1500 Express, the company is completing the rest his more recent “DT The lineup of the series.
As previously reported, in a sign of how popular US pickup trucks have become, the Ram 1500 outsold the Jeep Gladiator, Nissan Navara, Volkswagen Amarok and Toyota LandCruiser in single and double cab chassis last month.
