By Dean Seal

Shares in Visionary Education Technology Holdings Group Inc. fell another 21% to $2.40 in early trade Friday, a day after the company completed its $17 million IPO.

After the education company went public at a price of $4, its shares debuted at $28 and closed at $25 on Tuesday, but tumbled throughout the week and endured more than a dozen trading pauses for volatility. Shares finally closed at $5 on Wednesday and $3.05 on Thursday.

The company completed its IPO after the close on Thursday and said it offered 4.25 million shares and raised $17 million excluding subscription discounts and other costs. It has also granted the underwriters a 45-day option to purchase an additional 637,500 shares at the IPO price.
