US IPO week ahead: The IPO market is taking a break for the holidays

There are currently no IPOs planned for the coming short holiday week. While some small foreign issuers may be added late to the calendar, the window for larger IPOs remains effectively closed until the new year.

This is the final edition of Week Ahead for 2023. Our weekly blogs will resume in the first week of January.

After a relatively subdued 2023, rumors in the public IPO pipeline and the backlog of private companies point to a recovery in the coming year. The industrial, healthcare and consumer sectors are likely to remain active, and we expect a more robust comeback from large technology IPOs.

For more information on last year's activity and what to expect in 2024, see our 2023 US IPO review.

A street search is expected for two companies, and five blocking periods are expiring. Sign up for a free trial of IPO Pro to get access to street research and lock-up periods.
