Trading education specialist Symax Fintech has announced two dates for free trading education in August, with seminars led by veteran trader and market commentator Chris Tubby. Two live and face-to-face events will take place in London on August 9th and 11th.
In addition, dealers will have the opportunity to attend a free virtual dealer training event on August 10th.
The meetings on August 9 will take place from 11:00 to 13:30 and from 14:00 to 16:30. The afternoon session will be for women only.
The August 11th sessions will take place at the same time slots as above, but the morning session at 11am is for female traders only.
Participation in the events is free of charge. However, participants MUST bring their own laptop. The sessions cover a wide range of topics of value to traders. This includes an introduction to trading, asset classes, mistakes new traders make and the right way to become a trader. Chris will also demonstrate a number of his favorite charts and indicators.

Who is Chris Tubby?
Chris Tubby is an experienced trader with over four decades of trading experience. Chris began his career in commodities in the 1970’s and at the age of 22 became a senior trader for a US commodities trading house. When they arrived in London in 1982, he switched to the financial futures markets. In the mid 1980’s he opened his own proprietary trading business and performed execution for Tier 1 institutions.
His trading expertise is extremely diverse – prop trading, multi-leg strategies and arbitrage. He worked for many years as a market maker for international exchanges (such as CME) for a variety of financial and commodity products. This included four years at an Italian bank, Fineco, in Milan as a market maker and in London as part of a team providing liquidity to the two major oil futures exchanges (CME and ICE).
