Stock futures are slightly higher on Sunday evening
Futures tied to the major moving averages opened slightly higher Sunday night.
Dow Jones Industrial Average futures were up 52 points, or 0.15%. S&P 500 futures were up 0.16% and Nasdaq 100 futures hovered above the zero line at 0.02%.
On Thursday, key moving averages rose to end a holiday-shortened trading week. However, the S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite posted weekly losses, while the Dow posted a weekly gain.
The S&P 500 was down 0.1% this week, its first week of losses in four, to close at 4,105.02. The tech-heavy Nasdaq fell 1.1% for the week to 12,087.96. The 30-stock Dow was up 0.6% for the week to close at 33,485.29.
