Posted 10:40 – Corn in July is up 5 3/4 cents a bushel, July soybeans are up 14 1/2 cents, KC wheat is up 24 1/2 cents in July, Chicago wheat in July is up 9 1/2 cents and Minneapolis wheat in July is up 18 1/2 cents. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 426.38 points and crude oil in June is up $2.83 a barrel. The US Dollar Index is down 0.070 and Gold is down $35.80 an ounce in June. Bullish market action continues across all grain and soybean markets, helped by the reversal in equity and energy markets following Friday’s better than expected jobs and unemployment reports. July in Kansas City is a rocket ship — recovering 85 cents since Wednesday’s low. Chicago wheat is lagging but fund managers are certainly getting a little nervous.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 376.66 points and crude oil in June is up $2.58 a barrel. The US dollar index is up 0.160 and gold is down $38.30 an ounce in June. Grain and soybean markets are all higher to start early Friday, while wheat is up for a third straight day. A calmer financial outlook is sure to add risk to trading as the US jobs report comes in much higher than trade had expected and unemployment falls to 3.4%. July wheat in Kansas City is rising again, gaining 80 cents above Wednesday’s low in just three days.
Posted 11:38 — Live cattle in June are up $0.88 to $162.45, feed cattle in August are down $1.10 to $222.05, lean hogs in June are up $1.30 Down $85.85, corn is up 9 1/4 cents a bushel in July and soybean meal is up $1.00 in July. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 396.72 points. Traders aren’t paying much attention to livestock contracts, hoping that next week’s market will give more direction to the complex. The Bark cattle market hasn’t developed any more Bark cattle trades and at this point it looks like the week’s deal is closed.
Posted at 8:37am – Live cattle in June are up $0.35 to $161.925, feed cattle in August are down $0.38 to $222.775, lean hogs in June are down $0.55 to 86.6 $ down, corn is up 7 cents a bushel in July and soybean meal is down $0.10 in July. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 381.36 points. Livestock is again trading mixed at the start of the day as the livestock complex is trading slightly higher while both the feedstock and lean hog contracts are trading lower. No new business has developed in the cash cattle market and it looks like the weekly deal is essentially complete.
