Posted at 8:39 – Corn Corn is down 3/4 cents and Corn Soybeans are up 13 1/2 cents. May KC wheat is down 1/2 cent and May Minneapolis wheat is up 1/2 cent. Crude oil in April is up $0.41 and Dow Jones futures are up 37 points. The US Dollar Index is down 0.49 and Gold is up $11.10 in April. The soybean complex is recovering strongly, while wheat and corn are flat, with little news ahead of April’s WASDE later Tuesday.

OMAHA (DTN) – Live cattle are up $0.25 in June to $163.95, feed cattle are up $0.43 in May to $206.05, lean hogs are up $0.03 in June to $89.175, corn by 1 cent a bushel and soybean meal in May by $6.00. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 56.01 points. Both livestock and forage contracts are rallying early on Tuesday as the market expects another fruitful cash cattle market this week. The asking prices in the south are between 174 and 175 US dollars, but are not yet established in the north.
