Posted at 10:33am – December Corn is down 7 cents a bushel, November Soybeans are down 21 cents, December KC Wheat is down 5 1/2 cents, December Chicago Wheat is down 3-1 /2 cents down and Minneapolis wheat is down 8 cents in December. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 95.61 points and Crude Oil is down $0.34 a barrel in October. The US Dollar Index is up 0.270 and Gold is up $3.00 an ounce in December. We saw quite a reversal on Tuesday with all markets losing their early strength and now trading lower with soybeans and soy flour making the biggest reversal. November soybean price is 32 cents below morning high, soybean price is $13 below peak. Soybean oil is giving a sell signal off Monday’s bearish Engulfing Line chart pattern.

Posted at 8:38 am – December Corn is up 1/4 cent a bushel, November Soybeans are up 2 cents, December KC Wheat is up 4 cents, December Chicago Wheat is up 6 cents and December Minneapolis wheat is up 2 1/4 cents. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 14.48 points and crude oil is up $0.18 a barrel in October. The US dollar index is up 0.240 and gold is down $0.90 an ounce in December. The USDA announced two deferred sales of corn to Mexico: a total of 224,000 tons of corn were sold, including 112,000 tons (4.4 million tons) for crop year 2024-25 and an additional 112,000 tons (4.4 million tons) for crop year 2025 -26. Wheat markets are recovering somewhat, corn and soybeans are trading almost flat on a day with little news to drive markets other than extreme heat in the central US

OMAHA (DTN) – Live cattle are down $1.30 in October to $178.575, forage cattle are down $0.98 in September to $249.35, lean hogs are down 1 in October, $20 down to $79.425, corn is down 6 cents a bushel in December and soybean meal is down $3.90 in December. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 168.03 points. Cattle contracts continue to fall into Tuesday’s midday as traders simply do not see the fundamental support needed to push the contracts higher. No trade has developed in the bar cattle market and it is unlikely to happen before Wednesday as there are no bids and ask prices yet.

Posted 8:36am — Livestock down $0.05 in October to $179.825, feedstock down $0.03 to $250.3 in September, lean hogs down $0.53 to 80.1 in October $down, Corn in December is down 3/4 cents a bushel and Soybean meal is up $4.60 in December. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 22.40 points. Livestock is lower early Tuesday as traders look for confirmation and continued support. Bids and asking prices for Barvieh are still illusory and trading is likely to be delayed until sometime Wednesday or later.
