Posted 10:29 – December Corn is up 4 cents a bushel, November Soybeans are down 17 1/2 cents, September KC Wheat is down 9 3/4 cents, September Chicago Wheat is down 4 Down 3/4 cents and Minneapolis September wheat is down 4 1/4 cents. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 141.96 points and crude oil is up $1.53 a barrel in September. The US dollar index is up 1.150 and gold is down $15.80 an ounce in December. Soybean meal futures gave up more than half of Thursday’s dynamic rally, putting beans under pressure, while bean oil appears to be in step with crude oil futures’ slight recovery. Wheat is only marginally lower and corn is the opposite in quiet trading ahead of the weekend.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 83.91 points and crude oil is up $0.70 a barrel in September. The US dollar index is up 0.950 and gold is down $18.30 an ounce in December. Corn is little changed, while wheat and beans are lower, with soybeans down despite confirmation of purchase from China and unknown, with a total of nearly 10M MB of new beans sold, split evenly between both. Meal gives up some gains from Thursday, putting pressure on the bean market.

Posted 11:34 — October live cattle are up $0.58 to $144.225, September feed cattle are up $1.68 to $184.25, October lean hogs are up $1.00 to 98, Up $6, December Corn is up 6 1/2 cents a bushel and December Soy Meal is down $15.90. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 91.37 points. Livestock contracts are rallying higher into Friday afternoon as the market targets higher close in both livestock and feedstock contracts. With the Barvieh market trading $1.00-$2.00 higher this week, both markets found all the fundamental support they needed to propel their contracts higher.

Posted 08:36 — October live cattle down $0.05 to $143.6, September feed cattle up $0.13 to $182.7, October lean hogs up $0.03 Down $97.575, December corn is down 2 3/4 cents a bushel and December soybean meal is down $6.50. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 221.78 points. Cattle contracts trade mixed to start Friday’s trading, while lean hog contracts trade mostly lower at the start. The market isn’t expecting much more cash cattle trading to develop, but some cleanup isn’t out of the question.
