Posted 08:33 – Wheat prices remain higher after Tuesday’s bell-ring at 8:30 a.m. CDT after Russian forces are believed to have destroyed the Kakhovka dam and power plant in southern Ukraine, a key source of agricultural irrigation and cooling at the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant. December corn is up 1 1/2 cents and November soybeans are up 3 cents. The USDA reported that 6.1 million bushels of old soybeans were sold to Spain. In July, KC wheat was up 12 3/4 cents and in July, Minneapolis wheat was up 8 cents. July Crude Oil prices are down $1.54 and Dow Jones futures are down 40 points. The US Dollar Index is up 0.26 and Gold is up $5.60 in August.

OMAHA (DTN) — $0.33 to $242.275, July lean hogs are up $1.50 to $85.65, corn is up 9 1/2 cents a bushel in July and soybean meal is up 0 in July $.90 down. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 54.18 points. Both livestock and lean hog markets are trading higher, but the slightly higher price of corn is keeping feed markets depressed. No cash-cather bids or ask prices have been announced yet and it’s likely the market won’t see much movement ahead of Thursday.
