Posted at 10:32 – July Corn is up 10 3/4 cents a bushel, Soybeans are up 14 3/4 cents in July, KC Wheat is up 1 1/2 cents in July, Chicago Wheat is up 8 cents in July and Minneapolis wheat is up 8 cents in July is up 7 1/2 cents. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 272.28 points and Crude Oil is up $0.94 a barrel in July. The US dollar index is up 0.160 and gold is down $3.30 an ounce in June. Corn, soybeans and soybean meal lead this morning while wheat is still higher but well below the early highs. External markets rebounded, crude oil and stocks rose on some positive economic news regarding consumer spending.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 67.10 points and Crude Oil is up $0.99 a barrel in July. The US Dollar Index is down 0.110 and Gold is up $4.00 an ounce in June. Friday begins as an all round risk-on day for agri-field futures, with corn and soy new crop futures leading the way on a mostly warm and dry forecast through the end of the first week of June. Some more optimism that an agreement on the debt ceiling can be reached by Monday is also supporting assets.
Posted at 11:25am – August live cattle are up $0.23 to $165.0, August feed cattle are down $0.55 to $234.15, July lean hogs are up $1.70 Down $75.55, in July corn is up 12 cents a bushel and in July soybean meal is up $7.40. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 299.85 points. The livestock complex continues to trade higher, but the 0 feeder contracts are lower as traders fear the 12-15 cent rally in corn futures. No new cash trades were reported and the week’s deal is likely to be over.
Posted 8:36 AM — August live cattle are up $0.43 to $165.2, August forage cattle are down $0.33 to $234.375, July lean hogs are down $0.40 to $76.85 $down, in July corn is up 3 3/4 cents a bushel and in July soybean meal is up $2.30. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 69.10 points. Livestock contracts rallied aggressively early Friday as the week’s livestock trading continues to push prices higher. Meanwhile, both the lean hog and beef cattle markets are either lower or mixed as higher prices put pressure on their markets.
