OMAHA (DTN) – Since Sunday evening around 8:30 p.m. CST, Mary corn is up 1 cent per bushel and May soybeans are up 5 1/2 cents per bushel. In May, Kansas City wheat rose 3/4 cents per bushel, in May Chicago wheat rose 2 1/4 cents per bushel, and in May Minneapolis wheat rose 1 cent. Grain and soy markets are higher on Sunday evening, with a drier 10-day forecast for central and northern Brazil and increasing fund shorts likely to lead to fund short covering. Speculative funds increased their short positions in grains and oilseeds last week and posted record short positions in both corn and soybeans.
