Posted 08:38 – March corn is up 1/4 cent per bushel, March soybeans are down 1 1/2 cents per bushel. March KC wheat is up 12 1/2 cents per bushel, March Chicago wheat is up 8 cents per bushel and March Minneapolis wheat is up 7 1/2 cents. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 87.45 points to 38,432.39, the U.S. dollar index rose 0.720 to 103.76 and March crude oil fell $1.21 a barrel to $72.61. In quiet trading, corn and soybeans remain almost unchanged, while wheat markets remain stable under KC March's lead. Soybean oil loses value again. There is hardly any new news for grains.

OMAHA (DTN) – April Livestock decreased $0.03 to $183.15, March Feeder Cattle decreased $0.35 to $244,525, April Lean Hogs decreased $0.03 to $83,725, Corn is up 1/2 cent per bushel in March and soybean meal is up $3.50 in March. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 124.67 points. Following Thursday's exciting cash cattle trading, it is likely that trading in the cash cattle market will intensify somewhat throughout the day, but prices are likely to remain steady with the week's trend. So far in the week, southern live cattle have traded between $3.00 and $5.00 higher than last week's weighted average, and northern cattle have sold consistently $3.00 higher.
