March KC wheat is up 4 3/4 cents per bushel, March Chicago wheat is steady and March Minneapolis wheat is up 2 3/4 cents per bushel. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 100.08 points to 37,906.47 and the U.S. dollar index rose 0.350 to 103.59 and March crude oil rose $1.27 a barrel to $76.36. In the morning, soybeans came under pressure, pressured by bean oil futures that dropped March to a new low and the lowest price since June 1. Corn is also under pressure, with the wheat market mixed to slightly higher. External markets are on the rise, including stocks, energy and the US dollar index.

In March, KC wheat was up 3 1/2 cents per bushel, in March, Chicago wheat was down 1 1/4 cents per bushel, and in March, Minneapolis wheat was up 3 cents. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 84.41 points to 37,890.80 and the U.S. dollar index rose 0.150 to 103.38 and March crude oil rose $1.25 a barrel to $76.34. Soybeans and soybean oil are falling in quiet early trading, while Chicago wheat, currently in the red, is trying to close higher for a seventh straight day. U.S. soybean export sales remain paltry – currently down 18% from last year. In South America, the weather remains mostly bearish, but the current heat and drought in Argentina is likely to weigh on crops there.
Posted at 11:30 a.m. – April live cattle are up $0.50 to $178.85, March feeder cattle are down $0.30 to $233,475, April lean hogs are up $0.33 to 82, Up $35, March corn down 1 3/4 cents per bushel and March soybean meal down $3.80. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 20.70 points. There has been no major interest in the cash cattle market, with only a handful more cattle trading at stable prices in Kansas since Wednesday. Meanwhile, the rest of the market remains idle as feedlots wait for packers to increase their bids. Asking prices in the north are steady at $276 to $278, and feedlots in the south are asking $176.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 75.79 points. Thursday's export report said net sales of beef in 2024 of 22,400 tons were mainly accounted for by South Korea (9,600 tons), China (3,100 tons) and Japan (2,800 tons). Net sales of 24,100 tons of pork were mainly from Mexico (9,700 tons), Japan (3,100 tons) and Australia (2,200 tons).
