OMAHA (DTN) – March corn fell 1/4 cent per bushel, March soybeans fell 6 1/4 cent per bushel. March KC wheat is down 6 cents per bushel, March Chicago wheat is down 3 1/2 cents per bushel and March Minneapolis wheat is down 3 1/4 cents. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 120.24 points to 37,594.80, the U.S. dollar index rose 0.340 to 102.54 and crude oil rose $1.22 a barrel to $71.60 in February. Grain and soy markets extend Tuesday's selloff, with soybeans and wheat leading the decline. Good rains and more rains in Brazil have attracted sellers in droves. There is little other new news to drive the markets.
Posted 08:33 — February live cattle are down $1.13 to $170.8, March feeder cattle are down $0.80 to $225.65, February lean hogs are up $0.73 Up $66.05, March corn down 1/4 cent per bushel and March soybean meal down $1.20. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 116.38 points. Everything remains quiet in cash-catching land this morning, bids and asking prices have not yet been determined. Significant trading volume could be delayed until sometime Thursday or Friday. The forecast CME Lean Hog Index for December 29 fell $0.30 to $65.05.
