Posted at 8:36 a.m. – May corn price is down 2 cents per bushel, May soybean price is up 4 3/4 cents per bushel. May KC wheat fell 8 1/4 cents per bushel, May Chicago wheat fell 8 1/2 cents per bushel and May Minneapolis wheat fell 3 1/2 cents. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 20.47 points to 38,975.92, the U.S. dollar index rose 0.000 to 104.16 and April crude oil rose $1.40 a barrel to $79.66. The soybean complex is stronger early Friday while grains are slightly lower. The weather remains mostly favorable in South America, with Brazil's soybean harvest expected to be 50% complete by next week. Traders are awaiting a decision expected to be announced Friday on credit ratings for corn and soybeans used in sustainable aviation fuels (SAF), which could have a significant impact on demand.

OMAHA (DTN) – Livestock increased $0.53 in April to $185,875, feeder cattle increased $0.85 in April to $254,575, lean hogs decreased $0.08 in April to $86.55, Corn was down 2 cents a bushel and soybean meal was up $1.90 in May. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 20.84 points. Cattle contracts are trading higher as the market finally received technical support towards the end of the week. There may be a bit more light cash cattle trading developing, but it looks like most of this week's business is done.
