Regenerative medicine developer Carmell Therapeutics announced Wednesday that it has confidentially filed a proposed initial public offering with the US Securities and Exchange Commission.
Carmell did not release details about its IPO plans, but said in a expression It expects the listing to occur after the SEC completes its review, subject to market and other conditions.
Pittsburgh-based Carmell is working on plasma-based therapeutics to accelerate healing of bone, skin and other tissues. The Company’s lead product, a bone healing accelerator, has been cleared by the US Food and Drug Administration to begin Phase 2 clinical trials in the treatment of tibia fractures.
