Spanish perfume, skin care and fashion group Puig, which is behind brands such as Jean Paul Gaultier and Rabanne, is seeking a valuation of about $15 billion in a planned initial public offering in Spain, people familiar with the matter told Ben Dummett and Corrie from Wall Street Journal Driebusch. Puig announced plans for an IPO earlier this month but did not provide a target valuation or say how much stock would be sold, noted The Wall Street Journal, which previously reported that Puig and existing investors plan to raise $3.25 billion $ or more to raise This would be the world's largest IPO so far this year. Listed beauty and personal care product manufacturers include Estee Lauder (HE), LVMH (LVMUY), elf beauty (ELEVEN), curiosity (STRANGE), L'Oreal (LRLCY), Coty (COTY), Procter & Gamble (PG) and Unilever (UL).
