Investing.com – The Singapore-based SGX-listed stock, a leading indicator of , traded up 0.09% or 15.5 points as of 8:40 am Wednesday, indicating a flat open on Dalal Street .
Additionally, they gained 0.32% and are up 0.29%.
Major US indices fell on Tuesday as investors renewed fears the Fed could hike rates further as worries of further banking crises were allayed. Meanwhile, government bond yields and prices rose, supported by a weaker one.

Asian markets are higher on Wednesday after rallying over 15% Ali Baba (NYSE:) shares as the giant announced its plans to split into six entities, with potential fundraising and listing for most of them, while fears of banking contagion eased in the session.
As of 8:31 am, South Korea is down 0.15%, Japan is up 0.39%, China is slipping 0.19%, Hong Kong is up 2.18% and Australia is up 0.18%.
Oil prices rose on Wednesday as disruptions in Kurdish crude supplies and a potentially large drop in US inventories pointed to tighter supply in the near term. Some support was also provided by improved sentiment towards the banking sector.
