Let’s get into the details by taking a close look at my favorite NBA Finals predictions and exploring some compelling bets I’ve found on our best NBA betting sites.
NBA finals and futures bets – seriously, life doesn’t get much better (at least for me). It may not be the Super Bowl, but we’re certainly seeing our best sports betting apps open up some creative markets.
I’ve already clicked on four futures bets prior to the NBA Finals pick and wholeheartedly invite you to join me on this adventure. Believe me, I didn’t spend 14 hours Tuesday sifting through these markets and assigning prizes to these props just for the fun of it.

As discussed in my Miami Heat NBA Finals betting preview, I’m really excited about Martin’s continued success in the NBA Finals as I believe the futures market has yet to fully appreciate his new role. Sure, it’s adjusted a bit as its overall score has gone from 4.5 to 7.5 at our best sportsbook for the games themselves, but it takes time for the market to react to a player’s new situation.
By making a few assumptions, we can estimate the price of this prop. First, I’m using a 7.4 rebound prediction for the series, which is Martin’s prediction for Game 1; Of course it can change over time. Secondly, I assume that the series will only consist of four games. Taking all of these factors into account, I believe a fair price for this prop would be +108.
While +108 doesn’t give us any advantage over the +100 odds we see at DraftKings, our pricing is quite conservative. I expect Martin’s forecasts to continue rising, and we’re also assuming the worst-case scenario of a sweep. The longer this streak goes on, the bigger our lead will be, as Martin only needs to get 10+ rebounds once.

Nuggets point guard Jamal Murray is the clear favorite in this market on our best NBA betting sites, and with good reason. One thing I can assure you, however, is that if you bet on Porter, you won’t feel cheated. He’s a sniper who doesn’t hesitate to shoot whenever he finds even the smallest spot. During the Western Conference Finals against the Los Angeles Lakers, Porter attempted 33 three-pointers while Murray attempted 35 in four games.
The reason this futures bet is highlighted in this article is because of a price discrepancy that we found at DraftKings. At FanDuel, Porter’s odds are +240 while at bet365 they are +225. It’s hard to ignore this trait when you encounter an outlier like +380.

Caleb Martin averages 8+ rebounds in NBA Finals (+700 via DraftKings)
I mentioned earlier that I really like Martin’s rebound props in the NBA Finals futures market, and believe me I wasn’t just bluffing. Once I stumbled across this prop and the possibility of Martin being able to get 10+ rebounds in a single game, I couldn’t resist digging through the numbers to see if there was a potential one at one of our top NBA betting sites advantage.
To be clear, Martin’s journey began as an undrafted free agent, influencing the success of the Heat. But now his role has changed. He has become one of head coach Erik Spoelstra’s most trusted associates, as evidenced by his extensive streak in crucial games against the Boston Celtics.

Martin’s rebound numbers have skyrocketed as the game has gone on, especially since taking the place of forward Kevin Love in the starting XI and hitting 15 and 10 rebounds in his last two games. While the rebounding prop has already settled down to 7.5, I believe it can go even higher as Martin settles into his new role and potentially reach 8.5. If his total is 8.5 later in the series, having a +700 ticket for an average of 8 or more rebounds in the series will look pretty impressive.

It’s always exciting to target a long-term price in a futures market, but we shouldn’t over-consider it. In Game 1, both Butler and Jokic have the same bet total of 27.5 points. Your first reaction might be to lean towards Butler in this series market, considering he’s available at +170 while Jokic is at +135, but I respectfully disagree.
There was always the narrative that Jokic was boosting his stats, but I truly believe he’s just doing whatever it takes for his team to win. If that means scoring 15 points and providing 15 assists, he will. But if he has to lose more than 40 points, he’s capable of that too. That’s why we’re supporting Jokic’s NBA Finals MVP odds in our NBA Finals preview.
Although Jokic and Butler have the same total points in Game 1, I believe Jokic has a higher cap and points will come more naturally to him in this series.
This becomes clear when we explore another market offered by bet365. You have a prop where you can bet on a player to score more than 40 points in a single NBA Finals game. Jokic is listed at -110 while Butler is at +175. Considering Jokic has a 40+ point game in the streak at bet365 at -110, Butler at +175 and Murray at +250, why not use DraftKings +135 odds to let Jokic have the highest Score achieved in the series? a single game?
