Mishtann Foods Ltd. has announced that it is launching rock salt (pink salt from the Himalayas) in various pan-Indian based markets. The company already has a wide network of more than 70,000 distributors/retailers across India. The company has bagged several large orders from major retailers across the country.
MFL has previously marketed Edible Table Salt under its name and has successfully completed these orders. It receives a good response to its edible table salt. Pink Himalayan salt, popularly known as rock salt or sendha namak, is known to contain many minerals like manganese, copper, iron, zinc, and cobalt that have multiple health benefits.
Mishtann Foods is engaged in the production and marketing of a wide variety of rice with an emphasis on wheat, basmati rice, salt and legumes such as dal.
At around 9:46 am Mishtann Foods was trading up 5.74% on the BSE at Rs 10.68 per share.
