Mega Prime Foods CEO Michelle Tiu Lim-Chan says artificial intelligence will make fishing more efficient and sustainable
MANILA, Philippines — As artificial intelligence shakes up the industry, Mega Prime Foods CEO Michelle Tiu Lim-Chan sees only opportunity.
In an episode of Business Sense, she said the company has been talking to AI firms to improve fisheries predictability.
“Sometimes you can catch a lot today and catch nothing tomorrow,” Chan told Rappler.
But through AI, she said, they could improve both the efficiency and sustainability of the fishing process.
