Zoltan Pozsar, an expert on obscure but critical financial markets who gained cult status at his last job as an analyst at Credit Suisse, is starting his own consulting firm.
The new shop, called Ex Uno Plures, has set up a website to offer customers insight into “the topography and day-to-day workings of the dollar system.”
At Credit Suisse, Pozsar became known for deciphering the international financial markets, the vast arenas where central banks, corporations, and financial institutions exchange high-quality collateral for the currency needed to conduct routine operations. His popularity earned him a hashtag on Twitter and nicknames like “The Oracle of Market Plumbing.”
