LTIMindtree Appoints Vipul Chandra as Chief Financial Officer – Industry News

LTIMindtree on Thursday announced that its board has appointed Vipul Chandra as the company's Chief Financial Officer (CFO) effective April 25, 2024. He will succeed Vinit Teredesai, who has been the company's CFO since June 2020. He decided to pursue his professional interests outside the company. Vinit will continue to serve as CFO until April 24, 2024.

The Board expresses its deep appreciation for Vinit's contribution to the Company during his tenure. “Vinit joined the former Mindtree during the pandemic and played a key role in the organization's profitable growth journey by establishing strong financial controls and governance. He also contributed significantly to the successful merger of LTI and Mindtree and continued to serve as CFO post-merger,” the company said in a statement.

Vipul Chandra has had a career spanning nearly three decades in financial markets, risk management, banking and treasury management. He joined L&T in October 2013 as Head of Treasury in Corporate Finance and has been instrumental in leading the company's efforts in capital structuring and allocation, resource mobilization, working capital and financial risk management across the group. He has also been instrumental in executing several strategic financial transactions such as IPOs, OFS, share buybacks and business portfolio divestitures.

Before joining L&T, he worked at Citibank in India as Managing Director, Head of Corporate Sales and Structuring in the Global Markets business. He is an Engineer specializing in Electronics and Communication from Delhi College of Engineering and has also completed a Post Graduate Degree (Diploma in Management) from IIM Calcutta.
