JSW Infrastructure, which ranks itself among the top 5 port companies in the country, has appointed JM Financial as lead banker for its initial public offering (IPO).
CNBC-TV18 learns that the company is in the process of hiring more investment bankers in anticipation of the IPO. Also, JSW Infra intends to submit the IPO DRHP to Sebi by February 2023 and start its IPO by May 2023.
The company is likely to raise around Rs 3,000 crore through the IPO, which would result in a 10 per cent share issue and would value JSW Infra at around Rs 30,000 crore. The entire IPO is a reboot, so all the money goes into the company.
CNBC-TV18 has written to JSW Infra about the development, but the company has yet to respond.
