Japan will communicate closely with the United States and other Group of Seven countries on any measures it takes in response to a rapidly weakening yen, Finance Minister Shunichi Suzuki said on Tuesday.
Suzuki made the comments as the Japanese currency teetered around 20-year lows against the dollar, raising concerns about households’ cost of living rising.
