We believe the small finance bank is growing as it has shifted its focus from microfinance loans to expanding its secured loan portfolio, including affordable housing loans, secured business loans, gold loans, MSME loans and two-wheeler loans. Furthermore, the key driver behind Jana SFB's strong fundamentals is its intention to strengthen its liability business while focusing on expanding its deposit base to create a stable and low-cost funding source. We therefore advise investors who were allocated the shares to hold them for the long term, as the issue price was appropriately valued with a P/E ratio of 1.4 from September 2023.”
