Korea's financial market will close on December 29 ahead of the New Year, the exchange operator said on Thursday.
The country's main and technology-heavy secondary stock markets will hold their final trading session on December 28, the Korea Exchange said.
The first trading session for 2024 is scheduled for January 2nd.
However, due to planned ceremonies, the opening will be delayed by an hour to 10 a.m. The market closes as usual at 3:30 p.m. (Yonhap)
