DOMS Industries' IPO will open for subscription on December 13, setting the price range at ₹750-790 per piece
DOMS IPO Price Range: The IPO price range of DOMS Industries has been set in the range of ₹750 tonnes ₹790 per share with a par value of ₹10. The subscription date for the DOMS Industries IPO is scheduled for Wednesday, December 13th and closes on Friday, December 15th. Allotment to anchor investors for DOMS Industries' IPO is scheduled for Tuesday, December 12.
The minimum price is 75 times the par value of the shares and the maximum price is 79 times the par value of the shares. The company's FY2023 diluted EPS price-to-earnings ratio is 43.19x at the high end of the price range and 41.01x at the low end of the price range. The lot size of DOMS Industries IPO is 18 shares and multiples of 18 shares thereafter.
The DOMS IPO basis for allotment of shares is expected to be completed on Monday, December 18 and the company will issue refunds on Tuesday, December 19 while shares will be deposited on the demat on the same day after refund -Account of the allottees will be credited. DOMS IPO shares are expected to list on the BSE and NSE on Wednesday, December 20. With T+3 listing mandatory from December 1, 2023, DOMS Industries will be the first mainboard IPO to list on primary markets this month.
DOMS Industries IPO has reserved at least 75% of the shares of the public issue for qualified institutional buyers (QIB), not more than 15% for non-institutional investors (NII) and not more than 10% of the offering is reserved for qualified institutional buyers and retail investors.
Details about the DOMS Industries IPO
The DOMS Industries IPO includes a new issue of shares valued at up to ₹350 crore and an Offer for Sale (OFS) of shares of face value ₹10 each from a promoter and others joining together ₹850 crore. The size of DOMS Industries' IPO issue is ₹1,200 crore.
The net proceeds from the new offering will be used, in part, for general corporate purposes and the cost of constructing a new manufacturing facility to increase production capacity for a variety of writing instruments, watercolor pencils, markers and highlighters.
The Book Running Lead Managers (BRLM) of the DOMS IPO are JM Financial Limited, BNP Paribas, ICICI Securities Limited and IIfl Securities Ltd. The registrar of the DOMS IPO is Link Intime India Private Ltd.
As of September 30, 2023, the Company designs, develops, produces and markets a wide range of stationery and art products, primarily under its flagship brand “DOMS”, both domestically and in more than 45 countries abroad. Thanks to our pan-India multi-channel distribution network, research and development (R&D), product development and backward integrated manufacturing operations, the company has achieved high brand recognition among consumers.
According to the Technopak report, the company's main products, “pencils” and “math instrument boxes”, have significant market shares of 29% and 30% by value, respectively, in FY2023.
The company has shown stable financial development over the last three financial years. From fiscal 2021 to fiscal 2023, gross product revenue and operating revenue grew at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 72.69% and 73.45%, respectively. During the same period, the EBITDA margin (%) increased from 7.45% to 15.40% and the return on capital employed (ROCE) increased from 0.36% to 33.31%.
