Design software and services provider Silvaco Group is filing for a $100 million initial public offering

Silvaco Group, which provides design automation software and semiconductor IP solutions, filed with the SEC on Friday to raise up to $100 million in an initial public offering.

Silvaco provides technology computer-aided design software (TCAD), electronic design automation software (EDA) and semiconductor intellectual property (SIP) that enable semiconductor and photonics companies to increase their productivity, time to market products and development and development processes to shorten manufacturing costs. Its customers include semiconductor manufacturers, original equipment manufacturers and original design manufacturers who use Silvaco's solutions in production operations in their target markets, including display, power equipment and automotive, among others.

The Santa Clara, California-based company was founded in 1984 and had revenue of $54 million for the 12 months ended December 31, 2023. It plans to list on the Nasdaq under the symbol SVCO. Silvaco Group submitted the application confidentially on September 23, 2022. Jefferies and TD Securities are the joint bookrunners on the transaction. No pricing terms were announced.
