Comparison with Meta (Facebook) and other large IPOs

The topic of a possible Ripple IPO is not new. This possibility was hotly debated among the owners.

Recently, however, Brad Garlinghouse – the company's CEO – made it clear that the company's IPO was not a top priority. However, he also said they had been actively exploring markets outside the US for an IPO due to the hostile regulatory environment in the US.

However, that doesn't stop analysts and community members from speculating about its potential size.

Zach Rector – a well-known community member who specializes in covering the financial markets

First, he gave an example of the largest IPOs in history, which included names like Saudi Aramco ($25.6 billion), Alibaba ($21.8 billion), Softbank, Visa, Meta (Facebook), etc .

Rector gave several examples and arguments as to why a potential Ripple IPO would be significant, including the fact that the company is part of an innovative industry with transformative potential, an impressive list of prominent experts, and the amount of XRP that Ripple has in escrow owns.

Most recently, the company completed a buyback worth approximately $285 million, valuing the company at $11 billion.

He also said that there are future catalysts that could tip the scales in Ripple's favor in terms of the size of the IPO. He particularly mentioned the case against the US Securities and Exchange Commission and a possible positive outcome of the same.

He believes this would signal great strength to investors, coupled with the fact that Ripple is “cash flow strong.”
