Collas Crill played a key role in a landmark investment fund IPO in Guernsey.
Onward Opportunities Limited (OOL) is a newly incorporated Guernsey company registered with the Guernsey Financial Services Commission as a closed registered collective investment scheme.
OOL sought Collas Crill’s legal and regulatory advice for Guernsey on its incorporation and regulatory approval and most recently on its successful admission to trading on the London Stock Exchange’s Alternative Investment Market (AIM).
OOL, managed by Dowgate Wealth Limited, will invest in smaller UK companies to support their growth and appears to be a driving force for UK companies. It is believed to be the first new LSE-listed fund to go public since 2021 and the largest AIM IPO of 2023 to date.
