China-based Mobvoi plans to raise $44.3 million through an IPO

(Reuters) – Chinese company Mobvoi Inc said on Tuesday it plans to raise up to HK$346.7 million ($44.29 million) through an initial public offering in Hong Kong later this month.

The artificial intelligence company will issue approximately 84.6 million shares at a price of up to HK$4.10 per share in the global offering, according to the company's regulatory filings.

The shares are expected to begin trading on April 24.

According to its website, Mobvoi Inc, founded in 2012, provides generative artificial intelligence and voice interaction technologies.
