SAO PAULO (Reuters) – Brazilian telecommunications company hey SA (OTC:) announced late Friday that it had decided to delay the release of its 2022 financial statements to May 22 amid expectations of the judiciary restructuring plan.

The company, which filed for a second bankruptcy protection in March just months after it emerged from a similar filing, said the delay was mainly due to ongoing negotiations with a group of its financial creditors.

However, Oi releases preliminary figures showing that it had consolidated net sales of 2.62 billion reais ($518.96 million) in the fourth quarter of last year.

Its routine earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) for the Brazilian operation was 320 million reais during this period.

The company’s cash position stood at 3.22 billion reais at the end of 2022, Oi added.

In a separate securities filing, the telecom operator announced that it has entered into a promissory note purchase agreement with a number of financial creditors to set the terms of a court-approved $275 million debtor-in-possession financing.
