African gold explorer Ricca Resources, which is led by Lake Resources chairman Stuart Crow, is asking investors to join its pre-IPO round as it aims to list by June.
street talk.
Ricca had brokerage Canaccord offer Genuity shares at 17.5¢ per share at a post-money market cap of $32.4 million. It wanted to raise $7 million to spend on drilling its existing projects and finding new opportunities.
The Company owns gold projects in Chad, Liberia and Ivory Coast and has an earn-in agreement of up to 50 percent of an AIM-listed lithium project.
Ricca was spun off from UK-listed IronRidge Resources, renamed Atlantic Lithium and listed on the ASX in 2022. Atlantic had a market cap of $418 million and Piedmont Lithium owns a 9.39 percent stake in the company.
Elsewhere in junior resource private placements, Queensland gold producer Ashby Mining had the CLSA to attract investors for a $3 million short-term conversion loan that would be followed by a $15 million IPO.
Ashby is working on two closed pit leases with combined inferred resources of 385,000 ounces of gold and a processing plant near Charters Town, Queensland.
The unsecured loan would accrue 12 percent annual interest until its listing, at which point it would be converted into shares.
