At the moment the economy is all over the world. And when things get confusing, let’s look at basic economic indicators to explain what’s going on. Today we bring you two episodes of our daily show, The Indicator, focused on the bond market.
The US Treasury market is generally safe, predictable, and fairly dull. Lately, however, it has been anything but. We study the swings in bond prices and the yield curve (one of our favorite indicators) to try to help us understand where the economy is at right now.
