LONDON, Oct 12 (Reuters) – Britain’s Finance Minister Kwasi Kwarteng said on Wednesday the government’s growth plan will address the challenges the country is facing after the latest data showed the economy has shrunk.
“Our growth plan will address the challenges we face with ambitious supply-side reforms and tax cuts that will grow our economy, create more good-paying skilled jobs and, in turn, raise living standards for all,” Kwarteng said in a statement.
