The February 13 webinar will focus on Idaho's rural economy

BOISE, Idaho (KIFI) – Labor economist Ryan Whitesides will discuss the many components that make up Idaho’s rural economy in the next Idaho Department of Labor webinar on Tuesday, February 13th.

The webinar will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. MT.

“The economy of rural Idaho can mean different things to different people,” Whitesides said. “From demographics to population to the land itself, our rural economy consists of public and private industries, farms, ranches, forests, national monuments, community gateways to national parks and much more.”

Companies interested in attending Tuesday's webinar can register for the event via Zoom.

All future webinars and registration event information can be found in the department's events calendar.
