DICKINSON, N.D. (KXNET) — Dickinson is a growing town.
In fact, Dickinson State University is currently building a brand new sports complex, and more companies are coming to the area every year.
According to Carter Fong, executive director of the Dickinson Chamber of Commerce, a lot of tourism comes to Dickinson because of its proximity to Medora and Theodore Roosevelt National Parks.
However, Fong says what makes a town like Dickinson special is that despite its growth, the city retains its small-town culture.
“Dickinson is big enough to offer all kinds of retail, commercial and recreational opportunities for people of all ages while maintaining a small-town feel,” Fong said.
