FAIRFIELD — Solano County regulators will receive Tuesday’s annual presentation on the region’s economic health and take a look ahead.
Economist Robert Eyler, President of Economic Forensics and Analytics at Petaluma, will give his presentation of the Solano County 2021 Index of Economic and Community Progress.
“The Index tracks key economic and community indicators that shape the local economy. This 14th edition of the index, commissioned by the Board of Supervisors, includes labor market, business and income, population, education and workforce readiness indicators for Solano County,” the employee report reads.
Eyler will receive $20,000 for his work with the county and Solano Economic Development Corp.
The Board of Directors will meet at 9:00 am in the boardroom on the second floor of the Government Center at 675 Texas St. in Fairfield. The public session will be followed by a closed session to update supervisors on labor negotiations and Macro Plastics Inc. v. County of Solano.
The board is also scheduled to receive a presentation from the working group on projects for emergency food needs that could receive funding from the American Rescue Plan Act related to pandemics.
