NORTH DAKOTA (KXNET) – Our state has made more money, according to the Bureau of Economic Analysis. In fact, North Dakota’s economy grew from $52.7 billion in the second quarter of 2022 to $53.4 billion in the third quarter.
This is the fifth largest increase compared to all federal states. During the same period, North Dakota’s unemployment rate fell from 2.5% at the end of the second quarter to 2.2% at the end of the third quarter.
The country’s economy has also grown overall.
But experts at the Department of Labor say it’s also due because, economically speaking, we’re still emerging from the pandemic-hit economy.
