New Zealand has entered a recession after its economy contracted for a second straight quarter, figures released by government agency Stats NZ showed on Thursday.
According to the figures, the country's gross domestic product fell in the final two quarters of 2023, partly due to a downturn in New Zealand's key agricultural sector.
