Governor Kemp congratulated himself on the new high-tech jobs coming to Georgia during the State of the State address. The main source of our strong position was not mentioned: Democrats in Washington DC
Joe Biden and Congressional leaders worked hard to pass the Inflation Reduction Act without a Republican vote. This legislation provided incentives to advance large solar, wind, and battery projects in the US. Other related legislation promoted clean energy, semiconductors, and infrastructure improvements, again without Republican votes.
These programs have sparked an explosion of investment in all of these areas. Georgia has won as much or more than any other state, but nothing was possible without the foundation laid by the Democrats. Remember who voted against all of these American job creation programs.
