After 7% inflation last year and already over 8% inflation, Janet Yellen finally admitted she was wrong when she said the risk of inflation was small, manageable and ephemeral. President Biden said the cost of food and gas will not be under control anytime soon. No one is going to say that far too much money has been sent to state governments and too many people, many of whom have never lost their jobs, for far too long and it has been either thrown away or recklessly spent instead of being used for immediate needs to become as it was intended.

I just read that Calumet City is on the hook for $4 million because a criminal while riding in a stolen vehicle after robbing a store, got into another vehicle to avoid police and now is he paralyzed. So the police have to pay him for his crimes. That’s what’s wrong with the world today. The criminal is now the victim in the eyes of society. The criminal could do no wrong. That’s incredible.

So Chase Bank’s Jamie Dimon believes the economy is headed for disaster. He’s part of it. CEOs of finance and oil companies hold all the power and are paid more than 200 times the median wage by their boards. When the Federal Reserve raised interest rates, the banks did not increase the interest rates paid to savers. Saving used to be the basis of ordinary people’s economic security, but now it’s just plain stupid and allows banks to steal from customers. Financial services are forcing everyone to play the stock market now in trouble.

I will be 86 in July and have to renew my driver’s license every two years. I am proud of my driver record. Have been driving for 70 years. Why are people afraid of an 86-year-old driver? I opened the paper to the police blotter, 18 suspended driver’s license drivers on the street. I think I should be afraid to take to the streets with all the people who don’t belong there.

According to the Chicago Police Department, 60% of guns seized in Chicago were purchased out of state. Then why would the perpetrators come to Chicago and not some other city in the US? Because Chicago is a criminal paradise? If so, and it really looks like it, then why?
