Imran urges the nation and workers to prepare for a “peaceful protest” across the country

GUJRANWALA (Dunya News) – Pakistan leader Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and former Prime Minister Imran Khan on Saturday urged the entire nation and party workers to prepare for “peaceful protests” across the country to force the coalition government-led of PML-N to call snap elections.
Speaking at a public rally in Gujranwala, the former prime minister said that the Secretary-General of the United Nations (UNSG) had come to visit the flood-hit areas and Shehbaz Sharif assured him he would spend money honestly while holding the majority his federal cabinet members are on bail. They keep money outside the country and beg from others, Imran added.
“80,000 Pakistanis were sacrificed in the American war that was forced upon us. Such rulers bow to foreign lands and will carry out any orders they receive from outside. Therefore, Pakistan is independent in its decision,” said the former prime minister.
While reacting to the disregard for due process, Imran Khan said Shahbaz Gill is not a terrorist but he was treated like a terrorist and tortured, that’s why he reacted.
“The court of Chief Justice Athar Minallah made very good decisions, I will accept any decision of the court,” said the PTI chairman.
“The imported government is bringing the country down quickly, I know you are neutral, but if the country’s economy continues to decline, the nation will blame you. If nothing is done, the economy will be destroyed and national security will be directly affected when this happens,” Imran said.
Addressing his party’s Insaf Student Federation (ISF) and youth in general, the PTI leader said he needs them both in the face of “things I will say beforehand”.
“What I am preparing this nation for… I would need this nation’s youth very much for Haqeeqi Azadi (actual freedom),” he said.
