“Abortion, abortion, abortion. I’m pro-life,” he said.
Woodall said he believes Georgia’s election will be competitive and both sides could win.
“It’s a violet state,” he said. “Either way very winnable.”
Ellyce Payne, 30, who works in mental health care, said poverty reduction efforts and mental health reform were the defining issues for her when she cast her ballot at Dowell Elementary School in Cobb.
She said partisanship is a big thing in Georgia right now and only serves to separate people who would otherwise get along.
“If I’m in food history, I’ll help you get something off the shelf and I don’t care who you voted for,” Payne said. “I’m more focused on who you are as a person and the impact you have on the community.”
