Director Oliver Stone talks about nuclear power – EU economic chief Paolo Gentiloni – POLITICO

In this episode, POLITICO Europe Editor-in-Chief Jamil Anderlini sits down with Oscar-winning film director Oliver Stone to discuss his new documentary, Nuclear. Joining Jamil and Oliver is Joshua Goldstein, author of the book A Bright Future, which served as inspiration for the film. The live talk took place at the Blockchain Hub of the World Economic Forum in Davos.

Then we hear from the EU Commissioner for Economic Affairs Paolo Gentiloni. He tells POLITICO’s Jakob Hanke Vela that the EU needs to relax the bloc’s state aid rules to compete with American subsidies and ensure poorer EU countries aren’t left behind in the green transition.
